Endnote provides industry standard software tools for publishing and managing bibliographies. Locate bibliographic data and create bibliographies for curricula vitae, manuscripts, grant proposals, term papers and other publications. Obtaining Software Download a free 30 day trial copy of Endnote from http://www.endnote.com/endemo.asp License Information Endnote licenses are provided for UC Berkeley students and departments. The license is valid for the current version of Endnote. There is no expiration date on the license Once the license is purchased and installed on the software, no returns will be accepted. Student Order Instructions UC Berkeley students may purchase a Student Endnote License by completing a CARS billing authorization form. There is currently no store location for the TAS Software group, so signed forms must be faxed. Order Instructions: Download and complete the CARS Billing Authorization Form. Fax the signed form to (510) 643-6201. After you have purchased a license for Endnote through TAS, you will receive a confirmation email with the serial number and activation code. Download and install a trial copy from http://www.endnote.com/endemo.asp. Enter the license number during installation. If you have already installed Endnote as a trial version, you must uninstall the software. Follow normal procedures for MacOS or Windows software removal. Install Endnote again, this time entering the serial number. This gives you a full license for your Endnote product.

Once the order has been processed the Primary Contact will receive a confirmation email with the serial number and activation code. Download and install a trial copy from http://www.endnote.com/endemo.asp. Enter the license number during installation. If you have already installed Endnote as a trial version, you must uninstall the software. Follow normal procedures for MacOS or Windows software removal. Install Endnote again, this time entering the serial number. This gives you a full license for your Endnote product.
