Effective 9/4/09, the Cal Student Store is offering computer and printer repairs for all campus customers, including departments, students, and staff.

A new computer drop-off location is open in the Cal Student Store, Martin Luther King Jr Student Union building, right next to the Computer Store. A technician is available from 9am - 6pm, Monday through Friday.

Printer repairs for HP, Xerox, Tektronix, and more, will be done on-site at department locations. To create a service ticket go to http://www.computercare.net/index.php

Dell In-Warranty Repair
For users with Dell in-warranty systems, or to find an Dell service provider near you, contact Dell directly at 1-800-624-9896.

Subscription Onsite Computer Support for Departments

Departmental Onsite Computer Repair (DOCS)
DOCS provides computing support to campus departments at your sites, on a recharge basis. The DOCS service is intended for departments that do not have their own local support staff, do not have enough computers to warrant hiring a full-time support person, or need supplemental or more expert technical help.

The goals of DOCS are to assist clients in analyzing their computing needs, setting up their computing environment to meet those needs, and keeping their computing environment up and running through regular preventive maintenance and on-site troubleshooting. To get started, Visit the DOCS website.
